Delicious twist on the classic Reuben sandwich, loaded with generous fillings for the whole family to enjoy. A guaranteed crowd pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 12 slices light rye bread with caraway seeds
  • 6 tablespoons margarine, softened
  • 2 pounds deli sliced corned beef
  • 1.5 pounds thinly sliced deli chicken breast
  • 1 pound sliced Muenster cheese
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained
  • 0.25 cup creamy salad dressing, e.g. Miracle Whip ™
Instructions:
  • Spread margarine generously on one side of the bread slices. Heat a large skillet over low heat and place 6 bread slices, margarine side down. If all 6 slices don't fit, fry in batches of 3.
  • Layer cheese on bread in skillet and cook until melted. Top with corned beef, chicken, sauerkraut. Spread creamy dressing on remaining bread slices, then place on top of sandwiches, dressing side down.
  • Turn up the heat to medium and let the sandwiches brown on the bottom. Flip them over and cook until they're golden on the other side.
