Hawaiian meatloaf with pineapple, ketchup, and brown sugar for a sweet and tangy twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.5 cup bread crumbs
  • 0.5 cup chopped green and red bell pepper
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 egg
  • 0.33333334326744 cup ketchup
  • 0.25 cup pineapple preserves
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, bell peppers, onion, egg, 1/3 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup pineapple preserves, 1/4 cup brown sugar, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a food processor until blended; transfer mixture to a bread pan.
  • Place in the oven and bake at the set temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Combine 1/3 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup pineapple preserves, and 1/4 cup brown sugar in a bowl, then generously pour over the meatloaf.
  • Bake for an additional 20 minutes until fully cooked, with an internal temperature of at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
