Versatile chocolate biscuits - shape and decorate to your liking!
Ingredients:
  • 250g butter, softened
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 750.00 ml flour
  • 65.00 gm Cocoa
  • 1.25 gm bicarbonate of soda
  • 600.00 gm soft icing sugar mixture
  • A little water
  • Pink food colouring
  • 36 pink Marshmallows, for decorating
  • 72 Milk Baking Chips, for decorating
  • 100g Milk Chocolate Melts, melted, for decorating
Instructions:
  • Beat together the butter and sugar until fluffy, then mix in the vanilla. Add the egg and combine. Fold in the sifted flour, cocoa, baking powder, and bicarbonate of soda. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead until combined.
  • Divide the dough in half and roll out on a floured surface until ½ cm thick. Use an 8 cm round biscuit cutter to create shapes and place them on greased baking trays. Repeat with remaining dough, gently rerolling and cutting more shapes.
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C and bake for 10 minutes. Allow the baked goods to cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before transferring to an airtight container for storage until ready to serve.
