Easy tangy mustard sauce for corned beef, perfect for St. Patrick's Day. Bursting with flavor using simple pantry staples.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 tablespoons salted butter
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.75 cup cider vinegar
Instructions:
  • Gently melt butter in a saucepan over low heat; then, remove from heat.
  • Combine brown sugar, white sugar, mustard, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl, whisk well. Add vinegar and whisk until smooth. Pour mixture into melted butter in the saucepan.
  • Bring the sauce to a gentle boil over medium heat. Lower the heat and let it simmer for an additional 3 minutes.
