Indulgent and irresistible dessert, guaranteed to satisfy your sweet cravings!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla custard powder
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 4 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a heavy saucepan or double boiler, combine 1/2 cup of butter or margarine, white sugar, cocoa, egg, and vanilla. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture reaches a custard-like consistency.
  • Mix graham crackers, coconut, and walnuts together in a bowl. Stir into the melted mixture until well combined. Press the mixture into a buttered 9-inch square cake pan.
  • In a bowl, cream together 1/4 cup of butter, confectioners' sugar, vanilla custard powder, and milk until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture evenly over the melted base.
  • Chill in the refrigerator until firm.
  • Melt semi-sweet chocolate with 1 tablespoon of butter, then generously drizzle over the custard icing. Chill until firm, then slice into square bars.
