Nanna's Banana Bread

Decades-old family favorite: Nanna's moist and flavorful blender banana bread.
Ingredients:
  • 2 small very ripe bananas, sliced
  • 0.5 cup buttermilk
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a blender, blend together bananas, sugar, buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. In a large bowl, sift together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix the banana mixture into the dry ingredients until well combined. Stir in nuts and pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown, and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, for 55-60 minutes.
