Vibrant Asian slaw with napa cabbage, carrots, and sesame seeds - serve immediately for the best flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 1 small head napa cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and grated
  • 0.25 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 4 scallions, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • Simmer white wine vinegar in a saucepan until reduced to 2 tablespoons, about 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl and cool for 10 minutes. Whisk in sesame oil, vegetable oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, and salt.
  • Combine the cabbage and carrots with the flavorful dressing, ensuring they are well coated. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes before adding the sesame seeds and scallions.
