Crispy flour-coated baked potato wedges with a rich buttery flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and quartered lengthwise
  • 1 cup butter, divided, or more as needed
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Submerge the potato wedges in a refreshing water bath and chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Gently melt 1/2 cup of butter in a small saucepan over low heat and pour it into a shallow dish. In another shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Coat potato wedges in the seasoned flour mixture, then dip them in the melted butter. Place the potato wedges on the prepared baking sheet, adding more melted butter as needed for dipping (the flour will thicken it).
  • Roast the wedges in the oven until they are tender and golden brown, typically for 35 to 40 minutes.
