Cheesy green bean casserole with a secret family recipe passed down through generations - a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 ounces processed cheese (i.e. Velveeta®), cubed
  • 1 tablespoon real bacon bits
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
  • 1 (2.8 ounce) can French-fried onions
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) for perfect baking results.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, warm up the condensed soup. Add processed cheese and bacon bits, stirring continuously until smooth. Take off the heat and mix in mushrooms and green beans until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a casserole dish and generously sprinkle fried onions on top, ensuring to leave a 1-inch border along the sides.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until heated through and bubbly, making sure to check for browning onions towards the end.
