Heart-healthy, cake-like cookies that are irresistibly delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup canola oil
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1.25 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your cookie sheets.
  • Combine canola oil, honey, sugar, egg whites, vanilla, and water in a bowl. Sift whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon over the wet ingredients. Mix until well combined, then gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Spoon cookie dough onto baking sheets. Press down gently with a floured fork. Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 9 minutes.
