Delicious low-sugar fruity cookie for health-conscious individuals.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup butter
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Cream the butter or margarine until it becomes light and fluffy. Incorporate the bananas thoroughly, then beat in the eggs and vanilla until well combined.
  • Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, ground nutmeg, and ground cinnamon in a bowl. Blend the dry mixture into the creamed mixture thoroughly. Fold in the oats and chopped nuts. Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and lightly grease baking sheets.
  • Scoop small chilled dough rounds onto the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
