Create a delicious no-bake cereal and apple bar for a healthy and satisfying treat.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Fiber One™ Honey Clusters® cereal
  • 1/4 cup roasted sunflower nuts
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup dried apple slices, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
Instructions:
  • Grease an 8-inch square pan with butter or cooking spray. Place cereal in sealable plastic bag and gently crush with a rolling pin, meat mallet, or food processor.
  • Combine cereal and sunflower nuts in a large bowl; set aside.
  • In a 3-quart saucepan, bring corn syrup, brown sugar, apples, and cinnamon to a gentle boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and mix in peanut butter. Pour over cereal mixture and gently stir until everything is evenly coated.
  • Use a wooden spoon to pat down the mixture evenly in the pan. Chill in the fridge for approximately 1 hour until firm. Slice into 16 bars and keep covered at room temperature.
