Create a decadent chocolate orange pie with a fluffy filling in a crumb crust, topped with fresh fruit for a stunning presentation.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 24 regular marshmallows
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur
  • 1 chocolate flavor crumb crust (6 oz)
  • 2 kiwifruit, peeled, quartered and sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, gently warm the milk over medium heat until it starts steaming. Stir in the marshmallows and take the pan off the heat. Allow the mixture to sit for 15 minutes to soften the marshmallows, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the cream cheese until light and fluffy. Mix in the marshmallow mixture and liqueur. Spread the filling into the crumb crust and chill in the refrigerator until firm, approximately 2 hours.
  • Combine the kiwifruit and raspberries in a separate bowl, then chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
  • Cut the pie into wedges and place on dessert plates. Top with fruit mixture and sprinkle with powdered sugar before refrigerating.
