Tender pork shoulder slow-cooked in tangy-sweet BBQ sauce, ideal for a satisfying family meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds pork shoulder roast
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 0.33333334326744 cup red wine vinegar
Instructions:
  • Heat up your slow cooker on the Low setting for 15 minutes.
  • Season the pork shoulder with a generous amount of salt and pepper before placing it into a preheated slow cooker. Combine ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar in a bowl, then generously pour the mixture over the pork.
  • After cooking on Low for 8 hours, transfer the pork to a platter and slice it into 3 to 4 pieces. Shred the meat using 2 forks, then return it to the slow cooker and cook for an additional hour.
