Quick and easy oatmeal apple crisp with buttery cinnamon crumble topping and oat crust.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup melted butter
  • 4 Red Delicious apples - peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously coat an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine oats, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter in a large bowl until crumbly. Press half of the mixture into the baking dish to create a firm crust. Top with apple slices.
  • Combine the white sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl, then sprinkle over the apples. Finally, crumble the remaining oat mixture on top.
  • Bake until the topping turns a beautiful golden brown, about 40-45 minutes in the preheated oven.
