Delicious oatmeal cookie apple crisp with crunchy oatmeal topping and buttery apple slices.
Ingredients:
  • 6 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine the apples, white sugar, 1 tablespoon of flour, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl, then evenly distribute the mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together oats, 3/4 cup flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and baking powder. Add butter and blend until crumbly. Sprinkle topping evenly over apple filling, using your hands for a nice touch.
  • Bake in the oven until the topping is golden brown, for about 30-40 minutes.
