Cream cheese pie with pecan pie flavor minus the pecans for a distinctive dessert twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups rolled oats
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) to get it ready for baking.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, white sugar, and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract until creamy. Spread this mixture onto the pie crust. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, butter, flour, and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract until combined; then stir in rolled oats. Pour this mixture over the cream cheese layer in the crust.
  • Simply bake in a hot oven until the center is firm, for around 60 minutes. Let it cool before enjoying.
