Delicious, cozy pie made effortlessly with canned potato soup and veggies - a delightful aroma as it bakes!
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds cooked chicken, chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of potato soup
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Roll out one dough ball to fit a 9-inch pie plate for the bottom crust. Roll out the second dough ball for the top crust and keep it ready.
  • Combine chicken, vegetables, potato soup, and milk in a large bowl. Season with pepper, thyme, parsley, and salt to taste. Pour the filling into the pie shell, cover with the top crust, seal edges, and cut slits in the top for steam to escape.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 25-30 minutes.
