Transform hamburger buns into delicious homemade croutons for a budget-friendly pantry staple.
Ingredients:
  • olive oil, or as needed
  • 4 hamburger buns, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 0.125 teaspoon dried basil
  • salt to taste
  • coarsely ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect bake.
  • In a large bowl, coat hamburger bun cubes with a satisfying drizzle of olive oil. Spread the coated cubes onto a baking sheet and generously season with garlic powder, oregano, thyme, basil, salt, and black pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until beautifully golden and crispy. Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
