Indulge in a classic peach cream pie with luscious fresh peaches, creamy vanilla custard, and a heavenly cinnamon crumble topping.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups sliced peaches
  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, and salt. Mix in sour cream, egg, and vanilla using an electric mixer until smooth. Gently fold in sliced peaches. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  • 1. Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 12 minutes, then lower the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 30 minutes until the filling is set.
  • Prepare the topping by combining flour, sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Use a fork to incorporate the butter until the mixture forms coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the pie.
  • Place the pie back in the oven and bake until the topping turns golden, for approximately 10 minutes. Allow the pie to cool slightly for around 15 minutes before slicing.
