One-pot tortellini bake with flavorful tomato sauce and melted cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 0.25 cup Cabernet Sauvignon (or other dry red wine)
  • 1 (16 ounce) package tortellini
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown the ground beef until crumbly for around 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and granulated garlic until well combined.
  • Combine marinara sauce, diced tomatoes with liquid, water, and red wine together until mixed well. Simmer on low heat, then add tortellini and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until heated through.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) while you prepare the rest of the recipe.
  • Gently fold in cream cheese with tortellini and mix well; sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  • Place in the warm oven until the cheese is gooey and golden, which should take around 15 minutes. Serve promptly.
