One Skillet Cheesy Hamburger and Egg Noodle

Cheesy skillet burger with creamy egg noodle sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 4 ounces processed cheese (such as Velveeta®)
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 0.5 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
Instructions:
  • Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Boil egg noodles until al dente, about 6 minutes. Drain.
  • Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until crumbly and browned, about 8 minutes. Transfer beef to a plate using a slotted spoon, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  • Lower the heat to medium-low. Combine chicken broth, condensed soup, cheese, sour cream, rosemary, and thyme in the skillet with the drippings. Stir and cook until cheese is melted and everything is well combined, for about 5 to 7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat to low and fold in the egg noodles and ground beef. Cook until heated through and evenly mixed, for about 3 to 5 minutes.
