Flavorful one-skillet sesame chicken thighs with Asian flair, ideal for quick weeknight meals.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup chicken broth
  • 0.33333334326744 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger root, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 6 (5 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut in half
  • 2 medium green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Combine chicken broth, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes in a large skillet over medium heat until sizzling. Add chicken and bring to a boil.
  • Simmer gently until the chicken is fully cooked, about 20 minutes. Use a thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Transfer the chicken to a serving platter while keeping the flavorful sauce in the skillet.
  • Cook the sauce over high heat until it thickens into a glossy glaze. Pour the glaze over the chicken and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
