Creamy mac and cheese with a blend of 3 cheeses, perfect side for any meat dish.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 3 cups half-and-half
  • 8 ounces processed cheese (such as Velveeta®)
  • 0.5 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound cooked elbow macaroni
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, gently melt butter over medium-low heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in flour, mustard powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until fully incorporated. Slowly whisk in half-and-half and simmer, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Combine flavors to perfection.
  • Combine the processed cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Cheddar cheese, and stir until fully melted.
  • Drizzle the creamy cheese sauce over the tender macaroni in a generously sized serving bowl, and gently mix until fully incorporated.
