Indulgent fudgy brownies with cocoa icing - simple and decadent!
Ingredients:
  • 2 (3.5 ounce) packages dark chocolate, chopped, divided
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.33333334326744 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 teaspoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon milk, or more as needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Melt chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water, stirring often until smooth (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat, dry the bottom of the bowl, and set aside.
  • Whisk sugar into the chocolate-butter mixture, then add eggs one at a time, folding in flour and cocoa powder. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the oven until the edges pull away from the pan and the top is dry, about 30-40 minutes.
  • Combine confectioners' sugar, butter, cocoa powder, and honey in a bowl, whisk until smooth. Gradually add milk while stirring until the icing reaches your preferred consistency. Spread over warm brownies.
