Indulge in a quick and delicious seafood meal with this 30-minute fish steak recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 4 tuna, swordfish or other firm fish steaks, 3/4 inch thick (4 ounces each)
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppered seasoned salt
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (1/2 cup)
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel, if desired
Instructions:
  • Warm up a 10-inch nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Season both sides of the fish with seasoned salt. Place the fish in the skillet, lower the heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping once, until the tuna is slightly pink in the center. After cooking, remove the fish from the skillet and keep it warm.
  • Sauté onion in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour in orange juice and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Add dill, butter, and orange peel, cooking until slightly thickened, about 1 to 2 minutes. Serve sauce over fish.
