Indulge in nostalgia with this delicious cake that captures the flavors of childhood frozen treats on a stick - tangy orange and decadent vanilla.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package orange cake mix
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages orange flavored Jell-O® mix
  • 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
  • Once the cake is baked in a 9x13 inch pan, puncture holes all over the surface using a meat fork. Let it cool before serving.
  • Combine the gelatin powder with hot water and cold water in a medium bowl. Pour the mixture over the cake and chill in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Combine the remaining box of gelatin, pudding mix, milk, and vanilla in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Beat until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined. Spread the mixture on top of the cake and refrigerate until ready to serve.
