Deliciously dreamy orange cake - perfect for summer!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package orange cake mix
  • 1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O® mix
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 0.5 cup cold water
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
Instructions:
  • Prepare the orange cake mix as per the package instructions, then bake it in a 9x13 inch cake pan. Allow the cake to cool slightly before using a fork to poke holes in it 1 inch apart.
  • Combine the gelatin with hot water, mix well, then stir in the cold water. Pour the mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
  • In a mixing bowl, gently mix together the whipped topping, instant vanilla pudding, milk, vanilla, and orange extracts until well combined and thick. Evenly spread the mixture over the cake. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for 1 hour before enjoying.
