Ingredients:
  • 110g (1/2 cup) caster sugar
  • 125mls (1/2 cup) water
  • 1 lemon grass stalk, pale section only, bruised, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 4 large oranges, peeled, white pith removed, quartered
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, simmer sugar, water, lemon grass, and ginger until sugar dissolves, then bring to boil. Simmer uncovered until slightly syrupy. Add quartered oranges and simmer until warmed through. Serve in bowls with syrup drizzled over the oranges. Enjoy!
