Indulge in a zesty citrus dessert with the vibrant flavors of fresh oranges and lemons!
Ingredients:
  • 40.00 gm boiling water
  • 6.00 gm powdered gelatine
  • 2 eggwhites
  • 70.95 gm caster sugar
  • 2 x 150g tubs vanilla Fruche
  • 2 tsp orange rind, finely grated
  • 1 tsp lemon rind, finely grated
  • Orange segments, to serve
Instructions:
  • Pour boiling water into a heatproof jug and sprinkle gelatine over it. Whisk with a fork until gelatine is dissolved. Allow to cool.
  • With an electric mixer, whip egg whites in a bowl until soft peaks form, then add sugar and continue beating for 4 to 5 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Combine Frûche with orange rind, lemon rind, and gelatine mixture in another bowl. Gently fold in the egg white mixture. Divide the mixture into four 1/2 cup-capacity glasses and chill in the refrigerator for 3 hours until set. Garnish with orange segments before serving.
