Create adorable Halloween Oreo® devil cookies with red candy melts and candy eyes, a fun activity for kids!
Ingredients:
  • 2 ounces red fondant
  • 1 (12 ounce) package red confectioner's coating (such as Wilton® Candy Melts®)
  • 1 (14 ounce) package chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®)
  • 72 small candy eyeballs
Instructions:
  • Form 72 mini horns from the red fondant to match the cookie size. Prepare 2 baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
  • Melt the red confectioner's coating in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes until smooth. Ensure to scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula to prevent burning. Remove from heat.
  • Dip each cookie in red coating using a spoon to cover the top and sides, then place on the baking sheet. Attach 2 small devil horns at the top and add 2 candy eyeballs. Allow to dry for about 1 hour.
