Oreo™ Cookie-Cheesecake Bars

Decadent cheesecake bars with irresistibly rich Oreo™ cookie crust. Simply irresistible.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups coarsely crushed Oreo chocolate creme sandwich cookies
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 24 miniature Oreo chocolate creme sandwich cookies
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (or 350°F for dark or nonstick pan). In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, brown sugar, and butter with an electric mixer or by hand until combined. Press the mixture into an ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Top with crushed cookies before serving.
  • Combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour, and eggs in a medium bowl. Mix with an electric mixer on medium speed until thick and fluffy. Pour over crushed cookies.
  • Bake for 12 to 16 minutes until the topping is set. Let it cool for 15 minutes, then refrigerate for 1 hour to firm up. Cut into bars, top each with a miniature cookie, and store covered in the refrigerator.
