Succulent BBQ chicken and potatoes cooked together for a perfect blend of savory, sweet, and spicy flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 6 potatoes, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup white vinegar
  • 0.25 cup margarine
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) to get it nice and ready for your dish.
  • Place the chicken breasts, potatoes, and onion in a spacious baking dish.
  • Combine ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, margarine, lemon juice, dry mustard, salt, paprika, chili powder, and red pepper flakes in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring to dissolve the brown sugar and salt. Pour the flavorful sauce evenly over the chicken and veggies, then cover the dish with foil.
  • Roast in the oven until the chicken is cooked through, the sauce has thickened, and the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F, about 2 hours.
