Transform your overnight oats with caramel protein drink and a cozy blend of fall spices.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.25 pear, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
  • 6 ounces caramel-flavored protein shake (such as Premier Protein®)
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions:
  • In a small pan over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add pear, walnuts, and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, and saute until pear is tender, about 5 minutes. Take off the heat and allow to cool.
  • In a small Mason jar, mix together the protein drink and oats. Add the cooled pear and walnuts, then seal and refrigerate for 8 hours to overnight.
  • The next day, mix in pumpkin spice, ginger, and the rest of the cinnamon with the oats. Stir well to blend flavors.
