Savor the warmth of Pakistani spiced beef and pea curry over fluffy white rice for a delicious and comforting meal.
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon chile powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 (8.5 ounce) can peas, including liquid
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onion in olive oil until browned, stirring occasionally for 5 to 8 minutes. Add beef and tomatoes, then simmer uncovered until tomatoes break down for about 15 minutes.
  • Season with aromatic curry powder, vibrant paprika, a touch of salt, freshly ground pepper, spicy chile powder, and a hint of cayenne. Let it simmer covered for 30 minutes to meld the flavors. Uncover, fold in peas with their flavorful liquid. Cook until heated through, about 3 to 5 minutes.
