Paleo granola with almonds, pecans, walnuts, and sesame seeds in spiced honey butter.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups sliced almonds
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 0.125 cup sesame seeds
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons grass-fed butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 cup raisins
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix together a variety of crunchy nuts and seeds in a bowl - almonds, pecans, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds.
  • In a saucepan, warm honey and butter over gentle heat until the butter melts. Stir in vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, cloves, and allspice until well combined. Take off the heat.
  • Drizzle the sweet honey mixture over the delightful nut and seed blend; toss together until fully coated. Evenly spread the mixture onto the baking sheet, ready to bake.
  • Place the mixture in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, until golden brown. Allow the granola to cool completely before mixing in the raisins.
