Crispy pan-fried sand dab fillets, perfect for a fast and delicious dinner for two.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pound sand dab fillets
  • 0.5 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions:
  • Combine milk and egg in a bowl and beat them together. Season flour with salt and pepper. Dredge each fish fillet in the seasoned flour mixture, then dip it into the egg-milk mixture. Roll the fish fillet in bread crumbs until thoroughly coated.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear fillets in hot oil until beautifully golden brown on each side, about 3 to 4 minutes. Serve promptly with lemon wedges.
