Juicy chuck steaks seared to perfection, smothered in a rich Marsala, garlic, and rosemary sauce. Perfect for indoor cooking. Pair with a fresh salad and a fluffy baked potato.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (8 ounce) beef chuck steaks, well trimmed
  • 0.5 cup Marsala wine
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat a large, heavy skillet over high heat for 2 minutes, or until smoking hot. Season steaks generously with salt and pepper.
  • Sear steaks in a hot skillet, then reduce heat to medium-high. Cook for 4 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Rest steaks on a platter, covered with foil to keep warm.
  • After sautéing the garlic in the warm skillet for 1 to 2 minutes, place it back on the stove over medium-low heat. Pour in the Marsala and chicken broth, then bring to a boil. Let it simmer and reduce for about 3 minutes.
  • Off the heat, whisk in the butter and fragrant rosemary. Drizzle the flavorful sauce over the juicy steaks.
