Crispy cornmeal-coated Swai fish, a simple and delicious dinner option. Enjoy with your preferred vegetables.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 4 (4 ounce) fillets swai fish
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 0.25 cup water
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix red pepper flakes, seafood seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread cornmeal in a shallow bowl. Season swai fish with the red pepper flake mixture, then coat each fillet with cornmeal. Wrap the coated fillets in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • 1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place unwrapped fish in the hot oil and cook until golden brown on each side for about 5 minutes. Pour water into the skillet, allow it to simmer, cover, and continue cooking, flipping occasionally, until the fish flakes easily with a fork, approximately 10 minutes.
