Pan-roasted broccoli

Infuse broccoli with garlic flavor without overwhelming it.
Ingredients:
  • Olive oil, to coat
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 800g broccoli, cut into florets
Instructions:
  • Pour oil into a 20cm saucepan, making sure the base is evenly covered. Heat over medium heat.
  • Sauté the garlic in the pan, stirring occasionally, for 1-2 minutes until it becomes just soft.
  • Place the broccoli in the pan, cover, and simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally. Let it sit covered for 3 minutes until bright green and tender crisp. Remove the garlic and serve.
