Crispy garlic Parmesan chicken poppers with panko breadcrumbs are a delicious homemade treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut in bite-sized pieces
  • oil for frying
Instructions:
  • Simply blend Panko bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a food processor until finely crushed. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
  • Combine eggs and milk to create a luscious egg wash in a separate bowl. Then, place flour in a separate third bowl.
  • Dredge chicken pieces in flour, dip in egg wash, then coat with panko mixture, ensuring to remove any excess.
  • Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken in batches until fully cooked and golden brown, approximately 3 to 5 minutes per batch. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C) using an instant-read thermometer.
