Passover Brownie Cake

Innovative matzoh brownie recipe perfected after years of experimentation. Truly the best!
Ingredients:
  • 5 eggs
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2.5 cups white sugar
  • 1.25 cups matzo cake meal
  • 1.25 cups vegetable oil
  • 1.25 cups chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until smooth. Stir in oil followed by cake meal and cocoa until well combined.
  • Sprinkle nuts on top of the cake for a beautiful presentation and an optional crunchy topping. This way, those who prefer not to have nuts can easily enjoy the cake without them.
  • Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan and pour in the batter. Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for approximately 35 minutes. For a moist brownie cake, including Pesach, underbaking is key. Check at around 30 minutes.
