Elevate your PB&J with a raspberry liqueur-infused French toast twist.
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 6 tablespoons mixed berry jam
  • 12 slices challah bread
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry-flavored liqueur
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Spread a generous layer of 1 tablespoon peanut butter and 1 tablespoon jam on one side of each of six bread slices. Sandwich together with the remaining bread slices to create 6 delicious sandwiches.
  • In a bowl, gently blend milk, eggs, sugar, raspberry-flavored liqueur, and vanilla extract until velvety. Submerge each sandwich in the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, fry sandwiches in batches until golden brown on each side, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
