Indulge in a delicious PB&J cookie made with ease.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup favorite jam, jelly or preserves
  • 1/4 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, oil, water, and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Shape the dough into 36 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges just start to brown. Take out of the oven and gently press the back of a spoon into the center of each cookie. Let them cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Allow cookies to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Place 1/2 teaspoon of jam into each thumbprint. For an extra touch, drizzle the cookies with a chocolate glaze. To make the glaze, microwave the frosting in a small microwavable bowl on High for 10 seconds or until it's thin enough to drizzle.
