Elevate your rice by cooking it in rich chicken stock and combining it with vibrant peas for a delicious upgrade.
Ingredients:
  • 1000.00 gm white long-grain rice, rinsed
  • 1.25 litres chicken style liquid stock
  • 437.50 ml frozen peas
  • 1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, combine rice, stock, 2 1/2 cups of cold water, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer partially covered for 12 to 15 minutes until the liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in fresh peas and diced onion, then let it sit covered for 10 minutes. Gently fluff the rice with a fork to separate the grains. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
