Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 (16 ounce) can sliced peaches in heavy syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350°F (175°C).
  • In an 8X8 glass baking dish, melt the butter or margarine in the oven.
  • Combine the flour and sugar in a medium bowl, ensuring they are well mixed. Stir in the milk to create a smooth batter. Spread this batter over the melted butter in a baking dish and then pour the peaches on top.
