Delicious and simple Southern dish bursting with flavor!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1 (29 ounce) can sliced canned peaches, drained
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  • Combine the flour, brown sugar, white sugar, baking powder, salt, and vanilla in a large bowl. Add the milk and melted margarine, then mix thoroughly.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the baking pan, then beautifully layer the peaches on top and generously sprinkle with aromatic cinnamon. Bake in the preheated oven until the top turns a lovely golden brown, approximately 30 minutes.
