Whip up effortless peach freezer jam for a refreshing taste of summer in just 24 hours.
Ingredients:
  • 6.5 cups white sugar
  • 2.75 cups fresh peaches, finely chopped
  • 2 (1.75 ounce) packages powdered fruit pectin
  • 0.33333334326744 cup lemon juice
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix sugar and peaches thoroughly and allow to sit for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a small bowl, combine pectin with lemon juice, then add to the peaches. Stir the peach mixture continuously until sugar is fully dissolved and no longer grainy, approximately 3 minutes.
  • Transfer the jam to airtight containers, allowing some room at the top for expansion while freezing. Seal the containers and allow the jam to set at room temperature for approximately 24 hours. Store in the refrigerator for 3 weeks or freeze for up to 1 year; defrost in the refrigerator when needed.
