Peanut butter cookies stuffed with candy bars, yields 24 large cookies.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 24 fun size bars chocolate-coated caramel-peanut nougat candy
  • 0.5 cup white sugar, for sprinkling
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C), and prepare your baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
  • Combine butter, peanut butter, 2 cups white sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl, stirring until creamy. Then mix in the vanilla extract and eggs.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until a smooth dough forms.
  • Take 1/4 cup of dough per cookie, wrap it around a fun size candy bar, place on a baking sheet 6 inches apart. Flatten each ball with a fork in a cross-hatch pattern ensuring the candy is fully covered. Sprinkle each cookie with 1/2 tsp white sugar.
  • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven until golden brown around the edges, for 12 to 14 minutes.
