Transform plain oatmeal with rich peanut butter, sweet maple syrup, and brown sugar for irresistible steel-cut oats.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 0.25 cup steel-cut oats (such as Trader Joe's® Quick Cook Oats)
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter (such as Whole Foods 365 Organic Everyday Value®)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon brown sugar
Instructions:
  • 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. 2. Stir in steel cut oats and lower the heat to medium-low. 3. Cover and simmer until the oats are tender, which should take about 5 to 7 minutes. Remember to stir occasionally. 4. Remove from heat and allow it to sit for 1 minute before serving.
  • Combine creamy peanut butter, sweet maple syrup, and rich brown sugar with oats.
